Our Story

The history of Eventure 360 begins over 20 years ago, when two childhood friends with entrepreneurial spirits decided to venture outside the box. John and Peyton's love for technology pre-dates the Internet, when they were only in their teeens and began working together as system operators (SYSOPS), of regional bulletin board systems (BBS) in the DC metro area. They participated in the development of an international BBS network which connected hundreds of BBSs everywhere, allowing users from around the world to share information and connect. As they grew older, after tasting the challenge, freedom and creativity involved in working for themselves, the two entrepreneurs realized that owning a company was their future. With this vision, Eventure 360 was born.

The name Eventure 360 was derived, E - for electronic, Venture - to represent new adventures, and 360 - a global company. The company began as a small, quality focused web design and development group specializing in e-commerce, web systems development and IT infrastructure. Due to the dot com boom, Eventure 360, with their mad computer skills, had more clients than they could handle. This remained the case until the dot com crash.

After the dot com crash, Eventure 360 managed to suvive, but something had to change in order for the company to strengthen and grow in the newly changed economy. What John and Peyton realized from the start was that while they wanted Eventure 360 to grow, it was important for the company to remain small and quality focused. They wanted to always maintain the integrity of the business and develop trust and strong relationships with everyone and anyone they worked with.

And so, with a lot of hard work the two men restructured, re-thought and made Eventure 360 into what it is today. The Eventure 360 team consists of smart, creative, entrepreneurial and hard working technologists who offer honest opinions, broad expertise and creative thinking from a balanced position.
